India's primary market is set for a busy month, with the upcoming issues expected to collectively raise more than ₹25,000 crore India's IPO market is set witness a busy August 2026 as over a dozen companies have planned to go public during the month. Quick commerce player Zepto, logistics aggregator Shiprocket, and home loan lender Truhome Finance are among the 14 companies which are set to begin their public issue fundraising in August. In total, the value of issues is likely to cross ₹25,000 crore, as investors' sentiments improve and fundraising activity witnesses a boost in the second half of the year. Zepto Leads the Pack Among the companies set to go public, Zepto is planning one of the largest offerings in the pipeline. The quick commerce platform aims to raise up to ₹8,010 crore through a fresh issue, alongside an offer for sale of up to 11.34 crore shares by existing shareholders — making it one of the most closely watched listings of the month given the scale of India's rapidly growing quick commerce sector. A Sign of Broader Market Confidence The clustering of IPOs across sectors — from consumer tech to logistics to financial services — points to renewed confidence among issuers and investors alike after a period of more selective capital deployment. A strong August pipeline typically signals that companies see favourable conditions to test public markets, while investors show willingness to back a diverse mix of business models rather than concentrating solely on a handful of large, established names. What to Watch For As the various draft prospectuses move through regulatory review and pricing decisions are finalised, market participants will be watching valuation levels, subscription demand, and listing-day performance closely, particularly for high-profile issues like Zepto's, which could serve as a bellwether for investor appetite in India's consumer technology space through the rest of the year.
