Wiffy Raises $3 Million to Scale AI-Powered After-Sales Platform.

The Mumbai-based startup, backed by Earth Fund and Japan’s Persol Holdings, is looking to expand its presence among brands and go beyond installation and maintenance to offer a broader range of services.

Wiffy, a Mumbai-based after-sales services platform, has raised $3 million in a Series A round led by Earth Fund, with participation from Japan’s Persol Holdings through its corporate venture arm, Persol Venture Partners, and existing investor Capria Ventures. The company said the funding will go toward expanding its technology platform, strengthening AI-powered workforce management, deepening brand partnerships, and entering new service categories.

What Wiffy Does

Founded in 2019 by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goel, Wiffy offers installation, repair, and maintenance services to home improvement and consumer durables brands. Its software helps companies manage their workforce and ensure quality after-sales support once their purchased items are installed.

Now, Wiffy connects to more than 100 brands, including IKEA, Panasonic, Godrej, Hettich, and Amazon, providing services to more than a million homes across 90+ cities and 10+ categories, according to Persol. It also has a strong network of technicians trained directly by the company or working under third-party service providers.

Why Investors Are Betting on It

Abhay Garg, head of Earth Fund, pointed to Wiffy’s brand partnerships as a key advantage, noting that service demand flows in through those relationships rather than requiring heavy spending to acquire individual customers.

CEO Vikram Sharma said India’s home improvement market is expanding quickly, but field services and post-purchase experience have remained fragmented for years. “Our vision is to build the technology and skilled workforce infrastructure that enables every leading brand to deliver a world-class customer experience consistently at scale,” he said, adding that the new backing would accelerate the company’s technology, AI capabilities, and technician network.

A Track Record of Steady Fundraising

In July 2024, Wiffy raised ₹25 crores in a funding round led by Mount Judi Ventures and Capria Ventures, following a $2 million pre-Series A round in 2022 and a seed round led by Unitus Ventures in 2021.
