Hyderabad-based deep-tech company recognized for its nanobubble technology aimed at improving water and wastewater treatment.
Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt. Ltd. has recently received the Bengaluru INDIA NANO Innovation Award 2026 for its work in nanobubble technology, highlighting the growing role of deep-tech solutions in addressing water and environmental challenges. The award was presented as part of the 14th edition of Bengaluru INDIA NANO, held from August 3 to 5 in Bengaluru.
Prasinos Tech Innovations has developed a nanobubble generation system designed to improve gas transfer into liquids. Its technology, described as the NanoCav Blister, is intended for applications including wastewater treatment, water disinfection, aquaculture, agriculture, and drinking water purification. According to a technology profile released by the Department of Science and Technology, the system is designed as a compact, plug-and-play unit with low power requirements. The company says its approach can replace conventional aeration equipment such as blowers and diffusers and potentially reduce energy consumption.

The technology addresses a common challenge in water treatment: efficiently introducing and transferring gases into large volumes of liquid. Conventional aeration systems can require significant equipment and energy, particularly in large-scale treatment facilities. Prasinos’ nanobubble approach aims to improve gas-liquid mixing while maintaining a smaller operational footprint. Its stated applications span municipal and industrial water management, reflecting the broader push toward technologies that support water reuse and more efficient treatment processes.
The company is based in Hyderabad and is led by Dr AditiMullick, its founder and managing director. Bengaluru INDIA NANO’s 2026 programme identifies Prasinos as a deep-tech organization working on water and wastewater treatment technologies, including nanobubble, ozone and oxygen-generation systems.

The Bengaluru INDIA NANO Innovation Award recognizes significant nanotechnology-enabled innovations across areas such as energy, environment, agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, and water management. The 2026 award to Prasinos carried a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, along with recognition through the conference’s awards programme.
The recognition comes as Bengaluru INDIA NANO places greater emphasis on moving nanotechnology from research laboratories to practical, commercially deployable applications. This year’s programme focused on the theme “Nanotech’s Next Frontier: AI & Beyond – Conceive, Converge, Commercialise”, bringing together researchers, startups, policymakers and industry participants.
The award also reflects a wider shift towards technology-driven solutions for environmental management. As water conservation, wastewater reuse, and energy efficiency become increasingly important, innovations in treatment infrastructure are attracting attention across India’s deep-tech ecosystem.
