The new AI platform aims to bring scripting, visual development, production, and post-production into a single workflow as media companies explore faster and lower-cost production models.
VerSe Innovation, the company behind Dailyhunt and Josh, has launched SparkStation, an AI-powered content production platform designed to manage multiple stages of the creative process within a single system. The platform was unveiled at Film Expo 2026 and marks VerSe Innovation’s first product positioned for a global market.
Rather than focusing solely on generating individual images or video clips, SparkStation is designed to connect different stages of content creation, from initial ideas and scripting to editing, rendering, and distribution.
One platform for multiple production stages.
According to the company, SparkStation brings together tools for story development, script coverage, casting, location design, storyboarding, shot creation, music and dialogue generation, editing and rendering. A key feature is its model-agnostic AI system, which can route different creative tasks to different AI models. The company says this approach is intended to address one of the challenges of AI-generated video: maintaining consistency between scenes and across an entire production.
SparkStation is designed to maintain continuity across elements such as faces, expressions, wardrobes, locations and props. This could be particularly relevant for longer-form productions where inconsistencies between AI-generated shots can become more noticeable.
Focus on filmmakers, brands and creators.
The platform is being developed for three broad user groups: filmmakers and production houses, brands and advertising agencies, and independent creators. For businesses, the system includes image and video creation, user-generated-content formats and multiple versions of advertising material. For filmmakers, it offers production-related tools and exports compatible with established editing software. Creators can access the platform through a credit-based model.
The company also says SparkStation supports content creation in more than 60 languages, with an emphasis on retaining localised performance rather than simply translating dialogue. VerSe Innovation has committed more than $30 million over two years towards SparkStation, covering GPU infrastructure, AI systems and specialist talent. The rollout is planned in stages, with beta access that supposedly began in August, general availability scheduled for October and an enterprise API tier expected in November.
VerSe claims SparkStation could substantially reduce the cost of producing a 60-second brand film and shorten production timelines. These figures are company projections, and not independently verified industry benchmarks.
