The deal has added R$800 million in assets and expands the investment firm’s presence in Brazil’s REIT market.
Vinci Compass Investments has completed its acquisition of Navi’s Real Estate platform, adding approximately R$800 million in assets under management to its portfolio. The transaction, announced as completed on September 1, marks another step in the investment firm’s efforts to expand its real estate capabilities in Brazil.
The acquired platform covers multi-strategy and residential real estate investments. A significant portion of the assets is held through perpetual and long-term lock-up vehicles, giving Vinci Compass exposure to investment structures designed for longer holding periods. The transaction also brings four real estate investment trusts (REITs) listed on the Brazilian stock exchange and/or CETIP into the broader Vinci Compass platform.
Focus on Brazil’s REIT market.
The acquisition is particularly relevant to Brazil’s growing real estate investment landscape, where REITs provide investors with exposure to property-related assets without requiring direct ownership of physical real estate.
Vinci Compass said the addition strengthens its position in the Brazilian REIT market, particularly in the multi-strategy segment. The acquired portfolio includes funds that invest across real estate and related credit opportunities, giving the company a broader range of strategies within the sector. The platform’s assets are divided broadly between multi-strategy and residential real estate. Earlier company disclosures indicated around R$600 million was associated with Navi’s multi-strategy real estate business, while approximately R$200 million was linked to residential strategies.
Part of a broader expansion strategy.
The Navi transaction comes as Vinci Compass continues to build scale across Latin America’s alternative investment market. As of June 2026, the company reported R$361 billion in assets under management and advisory. Its operations span private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure, equities, and other investment solutions.
For the Brazilian real estate sector, the acquisition reflects a broader industry trend toward consolidation, as investment managers seek greater scale and more diversified portfolios. With Navi’s real estate assets now incorporated into its platform, Vinci Compass gains additional exposure to Brazilian property markets while expanding its multi-strategy real estate offering. The longer-term impact will depend on market conditions, investor demand and how effectively the combined platform integrates its investment strategies.
