Professional services group targets broader consulting capabilities and a stronger North American presence through its latest M&A deals.
Andersen Group Inc. is expanding its presence across North America through six new acquisitions in the United States and Mexico, according to recent reports. The professional services firm continues to use mergers and acquisitions to broaden its consulting, tax, and legal capabilities.
The company announced the acquisition of Andersen Mexico, along with five US-based consulting firms: Clareon, BD Emerson, Daniels Consulting Group, Endeavour Management, and Zenger Folkman. The transactions are expected to add approximately $34.5 million in annualized revenue.
The Mexico deal strengthens North American presence.
The Mexico-based business operates in tax and legal services, giving Andersen a stronger position in a market that plays an important role in North American trade and business activity. The addition is also expected to expand Andersen’s ability to provide tax, legal and business advisory services to multinational companies and growing businesses operating across borders.
The five US acquisitions are focused primarily on expanding Andersen Consulting’s capabilities in areas where demand for specialized business services continues to grow. The acquired firms bring expertise covering artificial intelligence and digital transformation, strategy and innovation, enterprise and finance transformation, cybersecurity, and human capital and organizational transformation. The additions reflect the growing role of technology and organizational change in corporate decision-making.
Acquisition pipeline remains active.
The latest transactions are part of a broader acquisition strategy. Andersen said its acquisitions announced since its first-quarter update now represent approximately $67 million in annualized revenue. Andersen Consulting currently has more than 37,000 professionals globally, while the company is evaluating more than 27 consulting firms at different stages of discussions and integration. The company has also indicated that it intends to continue pursuing acquisitions in tax, legal, valuation, and consulting services across selected international markets.
The six transactions are expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to the relevant conditions and approvals. The acquisitions underline the ongoing consolidation and expansion in the global professional services sector. For Andersen, the strategy combines geographic expansion with the addition of specialized consulting capabilities, while acquisitions remain an important component of its broader growth plans.
The company said acquisitions are expected to remain a meaningful growth driver alongside organic expansion as it continues to develop its global professional services platform.
