Startups of Odisha shone bright at the RashtrapatiBhavan exhibition

The Odisha-based startups displayed their innovations at an exclusive exhibition hosted at the RashtrapatiBhavan recently.

Three emerging ventures from Odisha recently showcased cutting-edge solutions at the President of India’s Estate, highlighting the state’s growing startup ecosystem. These startups received national attention after showcasing their innovations at a prestigious exhibition hosted at RashtrapatiBhavan in New Delhi. The event brought together promising startups from across the country, offering entrepreneurs an opportunity to present tech-driven solutions before policymakers, industry stakeholders, and investors.

The participation of the Odisha-based ventures reflects the state’s expanding startup ecosystem, which has steadily gained momentum through policy support, incubation programmes and increasing investor interest. The exhibition also served as a platform for innovators to exchange ideas and showcase solutions addressing challenges across sectors such as sustainability, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing.

Odisha startups gained national attention for displaying innovations.

The selected startups showcased products and technologies designed to solve practical challenges while promoting innovation-led entrepreneurship. Their presence at RashtrapatiBhavan provided valuable exposure on a national platform, enabling them to engage with government representatives, industry experts and fellow entrepreneurs.

Such exhibitions are increasingly viewed as important avenues for early-stage companies to gain visibility, validate their innovations and build partnerships that can support future growth. The event also highlighted the growing contribution of regional startups to India’s broader innovation landscape.

Odisha strengthens its startup ecosystem.

In recent years, Odisha has focused on building a supportive environment for startups through dedicated policies, mentoring initiatives, incubation centres and funding opportunities. The state’s startup programme has encouraged entrepreneurs to develop solutions in sectors including AI, biotechnology, agritech, fintech, healthcare and clean technology.

Government-backed initiatives have played a key role in helping young businesses move from the idea stage to commercialisation by offering mentorship, infrastructure and access to investment networks. As a result, a growing number of Odisha-based startups are now gaining recognition beyond the state.

Participation in national exhibitions provides startups with more than just recognition. It enables founders to connect with potential collaborators, investors and institutions that can accelerate product development and market expansion. For emerging ventures, such opportunities also help strengthen credibility while opening doors to future partnerships.

The recognition received by Odisha’s startups demonstrates how innovation is increasingly emerging from beyond India’s traditional startup hubs. As more entrepreneurs from smaller cities and states develop scalable solutions, regional ecosystems are becoming an integral part of the country’s innovation-driven economy.
