If you’re on a Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan, you can now use up to half of your weekly subscription limits on Fable 5, without paying anything extra
Anthropic has announced the extension of the free access period for its advanced AI model, Claude Fable 5, which had previously faced limitations due to national security issues. The promo period now lasts until July 19, 2026, whereas it had previously been set to end on July 12. Users can enjoy the benefits of using the model for a longer period without additional costs.
What the Promotion Includes
According to the promotional conditions, eligible users are allowed to utilize 50% of their weekly quota to access Claude Fable 5 at no cost. The extension has also been issued in regards to the weekly usage allowances for Claude Code, which has been raised by 50% as well. The promotion is available till July 19.
Who Can Access It
The free access is available to subscribers on Pro, Max, Team, and premium seats on seat-based Enterprise plans. Fable 5 can be accessed across Claude on the web, Claude Mobile, Claude Desktop, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Claude Design, Claude for Microsoft 365, Claude for Teams, and Claude Tag. Users on Claude Code need version 2.1.170 or later to use Fable 5, while Cowork users must be on the latest version of Claude Desktop.
What Happens When the Limit Is Reached
When the user has exceeded the allowance of 50% quota, they are able to continue using the model and proceed by buying usage credits for separate fees, or by using another Claude model. The conditions are the same for every platform, including websites, mobile devices, and desktop computers.
The extension gives additional time for all users to try the newest features of the model until the company decides on the way to grant access to Claude Fable 5 after it was released from the limitations imposed by the government.
